Workshop Details | The Daylight Studio with Quinton GORDON
This course will be held at Cinder Bloc Studio. (602 Esquimalt Rd. Victoria, BC)
Course Level - L1 (skill level details) No lighting experience is necessary.
This one-day course introduces you to the wonderful lighting possibilities of a classic daylight portrait studio. We will begin by reviewing the work of photographers such as Paolo Roversi and Irving Penn and then move into the studio to work with our portrait models. Here we will explore the creative techniques of making beautiful portraits using the unique qualities of a Daylight Studio.
No previous portrait or studio experience is required for this course but participants should be comfortable using their camera in manual mode.

- Lens: Portrait Focal length 85mm to 135mm (50mm lens for cropped sensor DSLRs)
