Ryan Gauvin (b. 1983) is an internationally published and exhibited documentary photographer based in Vancouver, Canada. He holds a BA in Geography from Simon Fraser University, and an MFA in Documentary Media from Ryerson University. Ryan has partnered with the International Campaign for Tibet, and was recently recognized for his work in Tibet at the 2009 New York Photo Awards and 2009 PX3 Prix de la Photographie Paris. He was also invited to attend the Eddie Adams Workshop in 2009. Ryan continues to use Kodak black and white film for all of his work.
