Lúz :: Kids in Art & Photography
Our new children's programs are an important extension of our firm belief that art and the photographic arts can serve as a powerful medium for communication, expression and education.
With the introduction of Lúz :: Kids, we hope to bring these same values to a younger audience and begin the development of a deeper appreciation for art, design and craftsmanship through fine photography, creative thinking and the book arts. Motivated by observations of our own daughter's desire for learning and creativity we have been witnesses to the remarkable capacity that even very young children have for image making. As such we are committed to a program of education that facilitates active learning along with physical dexterity, positive communication skills and creative thinking; all packaged in a safe, fun, and interactive environment managed by our team experienced and dedicated instructors.
Our aim with Lúz :: Kids is to take an active roll in the renaissance of handmade art, photographic craftsmanship, and book arts by nurturing a new generation of art appreciators, collectors, and creators.

We will continue to add more Kids workshops for Summer 2012.....Please send us any suggestions you have for workshops and make sure to join our mailing list to be kept up to date on all the details!
At the end of our two week Spring Break program, all students are invited partcipate in a collective gallery exhibition and open house featuring so that family & friends can enjoy an opportunity so see all the wonderful projects created in the workshops!
