For many photographers it is not necessary or desirable to purchase Adobe Photoshop and it is beneficial to have their image organizational, development, and publishing tools bundled into a single piece of software that offers a powerful, cost effective and comprehensive way to work with their digital images. Our Adobe Lightroom workshops are designed for you take as a three-part series or to take each module at your own speed. 

Please note that workshop participants are required to bring either a laptop or desktop computer with Adobe Lightroom 3 loaded. Trial versions will work fine. A 30-day demo may be downloaded here from Adobe.com

Adobe Lightroom -  Cataloging & Data Management

This is the first of a three part workshop series that will teach you how to use the powerful organizational, development, and publishing tools offered in Adobe Lightroom 3. These two evening sessions will give you an overview of why Adobe Lightroom is the most beneficial software choice for managing, editing and publishing your digital images an will focus on teaching you how to set up Lightroom Catalogues for maximum efficiency in organizing your image files. You will learn how to navigate Lightroom's user interface, set your user preferences, import image files, set up metadata presets and keyword your images to create a searchable database.

Adobe Lightroom -  Develop Module

In the Develop Module we will focus on editing and the sophisticated suite of Development tools for optimizing your images. In this course you will learn how to work with Raw files using Lr3 to retouch, crop, colour correct tone, and prepare your images for publication to the web, email or print applications.

Adobe Lightroom - Print & Web Publishing

The focus of this 2-part seminar is on printing and publishing your images to web galleries. This course will teach you how to use Adobe Lightroom to make high quality prints from your digital images using Epson printers including colour management, setting icc profiles and how to format your prints for a variety of applications from contact sheets to framable prints.
