We are in the age of the "digital darkroom" and the quality and control of archival pigment prints has given rise to the previously unrealized opportunities for printing colour photography. However getting a fine print is not as simple as it may seem and master printer Dave Pollock will lead the group through the primary techniques involved in fine digital print making.
*Working knowledge of Photoshop is required for this course.

Most of the digital revolution has been focused on working in colour and digital print technology has generally left fine B&W printers unsatisfied and frustrated with poor tonal reproduction and the colour shift issues of matamerism and metachromatism. But the latest pigment and paper technology has worked to address these issues and Dave will take the group through the required steps and technology of making rich, beautiful, neutral and archival B&W prints on quality inkjet printers.
*Working knowledge of Photoshop is required for this course.
